JANE HORROCKS
Jane Horrocks is a renowned and beloved actress known for a variety of roles onscreen and the stage. She gained fame
for Absolutely Fabulous, as Bubble in over thirty episodes, and the film of Little Voice. Other TV appearances include the
drama series' COBRA and The Amazing Mrs Pritchard, and the comedies Trollied and Bloods. She also had roles in episodes
of Red Dwarf, The Ruth Rendell Mysteries and Jim Henson's The Storyteller. Jane has appeared in films such as Sunshine on
Leith, Mike Leigh's Life is Sweet and The Witches, directed by Nicolas Roeg. For the lead in Little Voice, she gained acclaim and
award nominations, such as for a BAFTA and a Golden Globe. In 1993, she was Olivier Award-nominated for the title role
in the play The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, which became the film. It was written for her by Jim Cartwright, due to her ability
at mimicking singers such as Judy Garland and Shirley Bassey. Jane made numerous other stage appearances, including
more recently, The Birthday Party in the summer of 2024.
In the 2009 BBC TV film, Gracie!, she played the singer Gracie Fields and also starred as Sally Bowles in a TV version of
Cabaret, directed by Sam Mendes, broadcast in 1993. She has provided voices for children's series' such as The Rubbish
World of Dave Spud, Teletubbies from 2015, Little Princess, as well as the 1999 Watership Down TV series and the animated
comedy Crapston Villas. Jane also voiced Babs in the Chicken Run films and characters in Tim Burton's Corpse Bride.
SAMMY SHELDON DIFFER
Sammy Sheldon Differ is a three-time BAFTA-nominated costume designer. Her work includes cinema releases based on
comic books, such as the Ant-Man and Kick-Ass films, V for Vendetta, Hellboy II: The Golden Army, X-Men: First Class and
Kraven the Hunter, out in December 2024. She also worked on the acclaimed science fiction drama Ex Machina, The
Imitation Game, starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Green Zone, directed by Paul Greengrass, Kenneth Branagh's A Haunting in
Venice and the 2007 popular fantasy Stardust. Others that Sammy was the costume designer for include Kinky Boots and
the film of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, both released in 2005. She also designed the costumes for two Jurassic Park
films, including 2025's Rebirth,
Her earliest film work includes Ridley Scott's Black Hawk Down and she was the assistant costume designer on Gladiator.
Before working in film, Sammy completed two national tours with the Royal Exchanges’ touring theatre and one with the
Royal Shakespeare Company as their wardrobe mistress. She went on to design costumes for music videos featuring
artists such as Pulp, Jamiroquai, Jamelia, Beverly Knight, Eternal and Franz Ferdinand. Sammy received BAFTA nominations
for The Imitation Game, The Merchant of Venice, which starred Al Pacino, and a TV series of The Canterbury Tales.

WALTER MURCH
Walter Murch is a much respected film and sound editor, writer, director and a sound designer. His editing work includes
Apocalypse Now, The Godfather Part III, Ghost, The Talented Mr. Ripley, The English Patient and First Knight, starring Sean
Connery and Richard Gere. He was the re-recording sound mixer for many of the films he edited, including the above.
Walter played a key part in the sound for Francis Ford Coppola's The Conversation, including being its sound editor. His
career in this area began on the director's 1969 film, The Rain People and notable work as a sound designer includes
Coppola's The Godfather Part II and Apocalypse Now. He was the first ever person credited in film as a sound designer, for
the 1979 Vietnam war epic, which Walter won the first of three Oscars for and is the only winner for both sound and film
editing. In the early seventies, he provided the distinctive sound montages for George Lucas's first two features, THX: 1138
and American Graffiti and wrote the screenplay for the former with Lucas.
Other films he was the editor of include Cold Mountain, the third of three Walter worked on with director Anthony
Minghella, 1977's Julia, starring Jane Fonda and Vanessa Redgrave, and Jarhead, which starred Jake Gyllenhaal. Walter co-
wrote and directed the 1985 fantasy Return to Oz, as well as an episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the animated series.
He has received nine Oscar and BAFTA nominations for his editing and sound work and is the author of the acclaimed
1995 book In the Blink of an Eye and Suddenly Something Clicked, which is published in May 2025 by Faber. They're both
related to Walter's career and the wider world of cinema.
VIC ARMSTRONG
Vic Armstrong is a legendary film and TV stuntman, stunt coordinator and director. He performed memorable stunts in
films such as An American Werewolf in London, Terry Gilliam's Brazil, Flash Gordon, The Long Good Friday, The Omen and the
Bond films Live and Let Die, You Only Live Twice and On Her Majesty's Secret Service. His work as a stunt coordinator includes
Thor, Mission: Impossible III, A Bridge Too Far, I Am Legend, Total Recall, Starship Troopers, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade,
Spielberg's War of the Worlds and Empire of the Sun and three Bond films starring Pierce Brosnan. Vic was Harrison Ford's
stunt double in eleven films, including the first three Indiana Jones epics, as well as Return of the Jedi, Blade Runner and
Witness. He also doubled for Christopher Reeve in the first two Superman films and was also their stunt coordinator.
He was a second unit director on TV series' and films such as The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Penny Dreadful, Eddie
the Eagle, Gangs of New York, Tomorrow Never Dies, Last Action Hero, Terminator 2: Judgment Day and Total Recall. Vic had
small acting parts in productions such as Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Pink Panther Strikes Again, Space: 1999 and Raiders of
the Lost Ark. His awards include a BAFTA for an Outstanding Contribution to Cinema, the only stuntman to receive one,
and an Oscar for Technical Achievement.
